“I don’t feel good, Nathan,” I said, holding my stomach before puking into the petunias near the patio. “I’m all wobbly, and my head is spinning.”
Nathan wrinkled his nose, looking at what had come out of me. “Pete, what have you been drinking?”
“I had some of grandma’s ice tea when she was talking to mom. It’s hot, and I was thirsty. It tasted funny, but it was cold.”
“Little brother.” He reached over and rubbed the space between my shoulder blades. “Lesson number 24, never drink from a Petrelli woman’s glass. It’s not what you think it is.”
